Jess Bartlett is an award-winning Writer/Producer from South East England. Currently based in Bristol, her recent short film credits include 'Trigger Bang' (2020) and 'We Got It Easy' (2019) both commissioned by BBC Arts and Creative Arts Council England, along with spooky shorts 'Time Out' (2020), 'Stagnant' (2020), 'Wither' (2019) and critically-acclaimed musical 'Dearly Departed' (2018).
Jess is currently working as an Assistant Producer at Calling The Shots and recently completed the BFI New Producers Lab in November 2020.
One of Jess' most recent successes materialised with lockdown short horror film 'Stagnant' created with Ethan Evans on a £0 budget, which won Arrow Video and Celluloid Scream’s ‘Audience Award’ in 2020 and can be found on Arrow Player launching in the UK in February 2021.
As a Production Company Director at Terror Arcade, Jess is currently in development for multiple short horror film projects, as well as in development of their debut feature film.
Jess has also had experience producing promos and music videos for various companies.
Jess graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 2018 with a First Class Honours Degree in Film Production with an additional 'School of Media Annual Creativity Prize'.
